Security & Payments

This page explains how payments work at PrintingRay, what information we store (and what we don’t), and how we protect orders from fraud.

Payment Processing (Stripe)

We use Stripe to securely process payments on PrintingRay.com.

  • Card data: Your full card number is not stored on our servers.
  • Secure handling: Payment details are transmitted and processed through Stripe’s secure payment infrastructure.
  • What we may receive/store: Limited details like payment confirmation, transaction ID, billing ZIP (for verification), and potentially the last 4 digits or card brand (when provided by Stripe).

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept [credit/debit cards] and any additional methods shown at checkout (availability can vary by location).

Order Confirmation & Receipts

  • After your payment is successful, you’ll receive an order confirmation by email.
  • If you don’t see it within [5–10 minutes], check spam/junk and then contact support.

Saved Cards / Express Checkout

If you choose to use a wallet or saved payment method:

  • That information is stored with Stripe (or your wallet provider), not on our servers.

Fraud Prevention

To protect customers and reduce fraud, we may:

  • Verify billing/shipping details
  • Request confirmation for unusual orders (high value, mismatch addresses, expedited shipping)
  • Cancel or hold orders that appear fraudulent

If an order is held, we’ll reach out using the contact info provided at checkout.

Chargebacks & Disputes

If you have an issue with an order, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it quickly with a reprint/replacement/refund when appropriate.

  • Chargebacks may delay resolution because the funds are pulled into a dispute process.
  • If a chargeback is filed on an order that is already produced/shipped, we may be limited in what we can do until the dispute is resolved.

Security Practices

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect customer information, such as:

  • HTTPS encryption on our website
  • Restricted access to order systems
  • Routine software updates and monitoring

No system is 100% immune to risk, but we take security seriously and continuously work to protect customer data.
